Quality Time

While running all over town trying to get ready for Baby #2 I quickly realized that I only had a couple more week with my little girl...as just the two of us. Don't get me wrong, I am so excited to have two girls and to watch them grow, play, & become friends. But, for me and Bailey it will never be quite the same. So I decided we needed less errands and more "quality time!"

Afternoon at the Splash Pad

I love you Bailey, and the last 20 months we have spent together. I know you will be a great Big Sis, and I can't wait for all of the fun times and memories that are in store for the 3 of us girls!

Oh, makes me want to cry thinking about changing from one to two kids. Poor little first children don't know their lives are changing. I think Logan still hasn't adjusted. Can't wait to hear about you having a new baby!

I know that feeling!! Before Cruz was born Chris and I made sure we gave Kaia so much attention. We had a night out with her and tried to have so much fun and let her know how much we lover her. Even if she didn't realize what we were doing those few weeks before our little man came we felt good knowing she was getting all of the attention we could give.
Just so you know, having kids close in age, especially the first and second I think it helps. Kaia has been such a good girl and big helper. She hasn't gotten jealous really, and the only time she had a hard time was when she came to the hospital and left while we stayed with the new baby. She had some separation anxiety for a couple weeks after we were home. But besides that it has been so wonderful!!!
Good luck!!

What a fun mom!! It doesn't matter how old they are, they will always need that one on one time.
